Reading Avantgardede costs nothing. You are welcome to search it, filter it, print a recipe for your own counter, or send a friend a link. Cooking, teaching and personal reference are all fine, provided they are not for profit.

Who owns the content

Unless a page says otherwise, the recipes, guides and original photographs belong to Avantgardede. Please do not copy large parts of the text or images onto another site or publication and present them as yours without asking first. A short quotation with clear credit and a link back to the page is always welcome.

No guarantees

The recipes and guides are offered for information and for cooking. We test the methods and check the regional and historical statements with care, but results still depend on your ingredients, equipment and technique, so we cannot promise any particular outcome in your kitchen. When you write to us through the Contact or Corrections forms, please do not send anything unlawful, abusive or knowingly untrue, and make sure the details you share are yours to share.

Some pages point to outside sources, for instance historical or cultural references. We are not responsible for what those sites contain or for whether it is accurate.
